Can you believe we are half way through the first quarter of the school year!? The year is flying by already! September is a busy, but important month. Hopefully you all have had a chance to schedule a Parent/Teacher Conference with your kiddos teacher(s). Conferences will be from 4:30 to 7:30 tonight and next Thursday, September 19th. Come hear all about the great things your students are doing at school from their incredible teachers! Don't forget about the much anticipated Paint a Pot/Pot a Plant fundraiser tomorrow evening from 5:30 to 7:30. Mrs. Kim is selling tickets tonight and will be selling them at the door tomorrow. Bring your family out for a fun family event! We will see everyone back next week for another AWESOME week of school!

This week during announcements we randomly drew names out of our I Like It bucket for free tickets to the Paint A Pot/Pot A Plant event! Congratulations to today's winners, Hudson and Kenadie! Tickets are still for sale and will be sold at the door. Don't forget to stop by tomorrow starting at 5:30 for the event!

Huge thanks to our Little Axe High School Football team and cheerleaders for coming down to greet our students help them start their day off well!

Join us in celebrating International Dot Day on Monday! Wear dots of some sort if you have them! We will be doing activities through out the day to celebrate! International Dot Day is a day to celebrate community through the use of creativity and art!

Our first book fair of the year has kicked off! The book fair will be open until 7:30 tonight and open each day after school after dismissal. It will be open on Thursday, September 19th from 4:30 to 7:30!

Sorry for the glitch with attendance notification letters which were sent multiple times on Tuesday. We have worked with Wengage and the issue should be fixed going forward. As far as attendance letters go, whether you call into the office or email the office you will still receive an attendance notification letter for total days your student(s) are absent. Communication is key in regards to attendance.

We had a blast at our back to school dance!

We are excited to start our new WATCH D.O.G.S. program at LAE. If you attended Donuts for Grown Ups, there was a form with information about the program as well as a slip to sign up.
