Little Axe Elementary School

Axe Nation News: Parent Edition

Week of April 7th-April 10th

April showers bring us a PLANT SALE...

We are on the downhill slide of the school year. This time of the year is full of activities and things happening in the school. Our 3rd-5th graders have been preparing to take state assessments in the coming weeks. If you have a student who is a 3rd-5th we will begin testing during the week of April 21st. We are asking for your support and help in encouraging your kiddos! To help pump our students up, we are hoping you will send a letter or word of encouragement to them. You can email your good luck note to naomi.sullivan@littleaxeps.org. We will be printing them and putting them on signs outside of their classrooms. Please make sure to put your child's name and teacher when emailing. We hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you back on Monday for another great week at LAE!

kg practice

Kindergarten teachers and students have been preparing for their Kindergarten graduation ceremony! Students are learning new songs that they will perform during their graduation.

assembly

This week we had a special presenter, Mr. Jay Mule visit us. He talked about Native American cultures and taught our students life lessons by using interactive games for the students to participate in. Each game had a lesson about topics such as perseverance, dedication, anti-bullying, and having a strong work ethic.

garden

Our students have been maintaining all of our plants this week during Outdoor Education. They are ensuring our plants are in top notch health when sold at our annual plant fundraiser.
