Little Axe Elementary School

Axe Nation News: Parent Edition

Week of April 28th-May 1st

Rain, rain, go away...

The final month of school is here! The month of April presented us with a busy month full of state testing. Our students have DOMINATED their tests so far. Thank you to all the parents/guardians for helping encourage your students during the testing process. I'm excited to see how they all did. We also had our BOGO Book Fair and Garden Plant sale fundraiser happening. We've raised a TON of money and had a huge turnout for both events. Thank you for supporting our school! Don't forget next week is Teacher Appreciation week! We have some of the most incredible teachers and staff members! Here are some ways you can help celebrate your students teacher(s) during teacher appreciation week:

  • A kind note or message

  • Their favorite candy/drink

  • Donating office supplies such as fun pens, paper clips, sticky notes, etc.

  • Gift cards

  • Having your student draw them a picture

I hope you all have a great weekend and are ready for another great week of school next week! 12 more days!

-Mr. Daugherty
