Dear Little Axe Elementary Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year! We are excited to see everyone tomorrow morning for the first day of school!

Parents are welcome to walk their students to class tomorrow. We will open doors at 8:05 for families to enter if their student wishes to eat breakfast. All students eat free! Students who are not eating breakfast will need to proceed to the gym to sit in the bleachers until they are dismissed to go to classes. Students and their families will be able to walk to their classes starting at 8:30. We ask that all families exit the building by 8:45 when announcements begin.

***If you have a Pre-K student you will meet your students teacher in the cafeteria at their designated tables.***

Drop off will begin at 8:05 AM and Pick Up will begin at 3:55 PM

We ask that you stay in your car in order for the line to move as quickly and safely as possible. A staff member will signal when to unload your students in the morning. During dismissal, a staff member will walk your student to your car. If you are needing a tag, please contact the front office so we can get a tag for you. Please have your car tag visible during dismissal. Once your student enters the car, take your tag down to signal your car is loaded.

Do not let students off in the parking lot! This is a huge safety concern.

If families have a prearranged meeting with staff, they should check in at the front office before proceeding to their meeting.

Thank you for your patience as we work to ensure our procedures are as efficient and safe as possible for all students, families and staff.

If you are needing to make changes to your student's transportation for the day, please make sure to email Tori Drake at tori.drake@littleaxeps.org before 1:00 PM.
