We have successfully completed the first full week of school! Everything has gone well and we have adjusted procedures that have needed a few tweaks. It has been nice seeing all of the students back in school and welcoming all of our new students! We've seen a lot of learning and classroom community building activities this week. Hopefully you have connected with your teachers on ClassDojo and have seen all they have been sharing on their classroom stories. As a school we also share important updates through the day/week on ClassDojo. If you haven't connected with your students teacher, please contact the front office and we can direct you to your students teacher. We are excited to get this school year going. Here is to a fun and successful year!

The car rider drop off and dismissal procedures have consistently improved each day we are at school. This is our busiest time of the day for students and staff. We ask that you stay in your car in order for the line to move as quickly and safely as possible. All cars should have received a car rider tag by this time of the school year. If you are needing a tag, please contact the front office so we can get a tag for you.

If families have a prearranged meeting with staff in the mornings, they should check in at the front office before proceeding to their meeting.

Thank you for your patience as we work to ensure our procedures are as efficient and safe as possible for all students, families and staff.

If you are needing to make changes to your student's transportation for the day, please make sure to email Tori Drake at tori.drake@littleaxeps.org before 1:00 PM.

Students in Mrs. Grace's class made friendship bracelets this week. They were learning about their classmates and working on building a strong classroom community for the school year!

Mrs. George's 4th grade students completing a fun team building activity. The students are tasked with stacking the cups into a pyramid, but they can only use one rubber band with a string tied to them. This instills teamwork and communication to the students! Such a fun activity!
