Little Axe Elementary School

Axe Nation News: Parent Edition

Week of August 18th-21st

Splish, Splash, we are having a blast!

Another successful week in the books for LAE! Students are settling into routines and getting accustomed to their daily schedules. Despite the heat, our students have been resilient and remained hard at work. Our Back to School Bash at Westwood Water Park was a huge success! It was great seeing everyone out and having fun with their families.

A few important reminders:

  • Drop off begins at 8:05 in the car lane. Please wait to release students until a staff member signals you to release

  • Official school start time is 8:35. Students need to be in the building by this time and heading into class.

  • If your student is going to be absent, please contact our front office so we can record the attendance correctly.

We will see everyone back on Monday for another great week of school! Let's hope for some much anticipated cooler temperatures.

-Mr. Daugherty

ClassDojo Point Prizes

Dojo

Students can earn ClassDojo points from any adult in the building. Our schoolwide Dojo points revolve around our Little Axe Citizenship Commitments: we are safe, we are respectful, we are responsible and we are ready to learn. As a parent/guardian on ClassDojo you can check your students points and see how many they have earned!

Pictured above is what students can use their Dojo Points on!

If you are needing to make changes to your student's transportation for the day, please make sure to email Tori Drake at tori.drake@littleaxeps.org before 1:00 PM.
