Axe Nation News: Parent Edition

Week of September 22nd-25th

Fall is finally here...

Another great week of school is in the books at LAE! We are officially over the halfway mark of the first nine weeks. You should have received your students progress reports in Tuesday folders this week. If you have a student in Pre-K through 1st grade, you will not receive a progress report. They are Standards Based Grade Cards and you will get a progress update at the end of the nine weeks. If you have any questions about your students progress reports or grades, please contact your students teacher(s). Thank you to everyone who came out and visited us during Parent/Teacher conferences. Our next round of conferences will be in the second semester when we return from Winter Break.

Important info:

  • Dismissal begins at 3:55 for car riders. Please stay in your cars during this time. A staff member will escort your student(s) to your car. Have your car tag visible until your students load, then remove the tag to signal you are loaded and ready to leave.

  • Students will not be released to parents/guardians at the cafeteria doors during dismissal.

  • Attendance Notification letters will go out on Monday. If you have any questions or concerns about your students attendance, please contact our front office.

Have a great weekend!

-Mr. Daugherty
