First Nine weeks of school...complete... |
We have made it through the first nine weeks of school successfully! It has been an AWESOME start to the year! We have many fun events coming within the next few weeks. On Monday our 5th grade students will head off to Camp Classen in Davis for our 5th year attending camp! Let's hope for safe travels and a fun time at camp! Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported their trip to camp! We are taking our largest group ever this year with 84 total campers! This is all possible because of your donations, $1 hat day fundraiser, and Wacky Wednesday earnings!
As the first nine weeks conclude, teachers will be finalizing grades and sending home report cards home on October 21st. If you have any questions about your students grades, please reach out to their teacher or you can check the Wengage parent portal for you student. Thank you to everyone who attended our Fall Carnival last week! We had a huge turn out and everyone left smiling from all the games and activities they did! I can't wait for the second nine weeks and to see all the greatness that happens!
Don't forget today is a Remote Learning Day! Please check in with your students teacher if you need assistance. All remote learning work must be returned on Monday!
Have a great weekend!

Fourth grade student, Hadlee, was caught this week picking up trash on our playground during her recess. No adult asked her to do so, she did this on her own! We love when students take initiative to help keep our school clean! |
We have started a mileage club during 2nd-5th grade recesses! Every Thursday, students participate in walking around our playground and recording how many laps they walk. This totals into miles and students earn incentives based upon their mileage. Fourth grader, Logan, and third grader, Ellison, have earned their first mileage marker of walking 5 miles! Way to go!

Next week is Homecoming! Please see the dress up days for the HS! We will join them in celebrating also! |

ClassDojo Point Challenge! |
This month we are challenging our students to earn 3,500 ClassDojo schoolwide points! Our school wide points are as follows:
Students can earn these points from ANY adult in the building. Last month, students earned 3,133 points. We set the goal for 3,500 and if students reach this school goal, all grade levels will have a GLOW DANCE PARTY! This party will be on October 30th if we meet the goal.
Encourage your students to follow our citizenship commitments and earn as many points as possible! Check out our progress so far!
