Trick or Treat, give me something good to eat...

Another successful week in the books at LAE! It was a busy, but fun and productive week. We spent the week celebrating Red Ribbon Week with activities during specials and finished the week with Fall Parties! It was a joy seeing all the students dressed up and excited to show off their costumes. Not only were they excited to share their costumes, but they were excited to PARTY! Thank you to all the parents/guardians who visited our building and attended class parties. We appreciate all the help and support in making the parties successful.

Please see the link below for the letter sent this week about community needs and available supports. If you are needing assistance with food, clothing, toiletries, etc. please fill out the form in the letter.

Little Axe Public Schools English Language Learner Director, Mrs. Ottman, visited with various grade levels this week and taught a fun lesson about Dia de los muertos. Students learned about the Hispanic culture of this holiday and had a brief Spanish lesson!

Another popular item for students to spend their ClassDojo points on is buying a personal pizza for lunch! Fourth grade student, Sadye, saved up her points and cashed them in for her own pizza! Keep encouraging your students to earn and spend their dojo points!
