Axe Nation News: Parent Edition

Week of August 19th-22nd

This week was a "splash"!

Another successful week in the books for LAE! Students are settling into routines and getting accustomed to their daily schedules. Despite the heat, our students have been resilient and remained hard at work. Don't forget tomorrow is our Back to School Bash at Westwood Water Park starting at 6:30. Come beat the heat and cool off with us! We will see everyone back on Monday for another great week of school! Let's hope for some much anticipated cooler temperatures.

I Like Its

The I Like It passes have been pouring into the office. We had our first yellow I Like It pass drawing during announcements this week. Congratulations to Karsyn, Julieta, Allie, Janie, and Bronco! They had their name randomly drawn and got to pick out a prize from our I Like It store!

I Like It Passes

I Like Its

Students can earn an I Like It pass from any adult in the building. The white copy comes home to share with families, the yellow copy comes to the office to enter into a random drawing, and the pink passes are like money where students can spend their hard earned I Like It passes in their classroom or the front office.

Pictured above is what students can use their I Like It passes on!
