LAHS Attendance Policy

State law states (and this is for every school district in Oklahoma), that the student must be in attendance 90% of the semester. Little Axe is a four day school week so that means, students cannot miss more than 8 days a semester to receive credit in a course. If a student misses 9 or more days a semester they may lose credit for that hour and an "NC" (No Credit) will replace the grade.
**3 tardies = 1 ABS

Please notify the attendance secretary of any student absences and provide medical documentation when available.

Parent Teacher Conference

This Thursday, January 29th. The high school will have only ONE night of conferences. 3:05PM-9:05PM

Parents are encouraged to attend parent–teacher conferences to meet with their student’s teachers, review academic progress, and discuss any concerns. These conferences provide an opportunity to check grades, ask questions, and better understand classroom expectations. We hope you can make it.
