Dear Little Axe Middle School Families,
As we approach the end of 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful progress we’ve made as a school community. December is a time for both celebration and reflection, as we wrap up the first semester of the school year. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the hard work, resilience, and growth that each of our students has demonstrated.

It has been inspiring to watch our middle schoolers grow not only as learners but also as young people who are becoming leaders in our school. The energy in our classrooms and hallways is truly remarkable, and I am proud of all the achievements thus far.

As we move into the holiday season, I encourage everyone to take time to relax, recharge, and spend quality moments with family and friends. The break will provide an excellent opportunity to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished this semester and to set new goals for the remainder of the school year.

Thank you to all of our students, staff, and families for your continued support. Together, we are building a strong foundation for success, and I look forward to what the second half of the year will bring.

Take Care of Yourself During the Holidays: The holidays are a fun time, but they can also be stressful with schoolwork, activities, and excitement. It’s important to take care of yourself so you can enjoy everything! Here’s how you can practice self-care this month:

Remember to get enough sleep (at least 8 hours), move your body (just stay active), take breaks, and stay connected (spend time with friends and family. By focusing on self-care, you’ll be able to enjoy the holiday season while also staying on track with school and other activities!
